Based on the comments on this thread, it seems like its ok for Sony to have 3rd exclusives, but back on E3 when MS announced Tomb Raider exclusive all hell broke loose (and for the record its just timed exclusive).

it doesn't look 1080p on console because it runs at 1920x768 resolution on PlayStation 4 and a meagre 1600x640 on Xbox One.

To be fair the lighting and the contrast look different on both screenshots and that doesn't have anything to do with resolution. So the comparison its not 100% accurate.
Anyway, why is this game not running @ 1080p I mean the game isn't pushing any standard on graphics.
I think it is, hardcore gamers dont care for it much and the casual already forgot about it, i think its just a gimmick just like motion control.

Thne buy an XBO and you wont have a problem, I have all three current gen consoles so i don't have any problem with a game coming to any specific console. And dont give me the i'm broke excuse, anyone can save money and buy the consoles unless you are a lazy guy that don't like to work or you are 12 years old or younger.

1080P doesn't guarantee a good game. Im not gonna be naming any games because i'll probably hurt some fanboys feeling but look at latest games that run 1080p and aren't too good. Gameplay over resolution (because its not even about graphics anymore) any time.
